Hi I have installed plymouth as explained in the wiki page (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Plymouth)
Added hooks and modules and added `quiet splash` to kernel parameters and rebuilt grub menu as well as rebuilt initrd image.
Installed and enabled `gdm-plymouth`... unfortunatelly the plymouth splash screen does not show un boot.
I've manually launched plymouth to check if it works as explained here (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pl … _the_Theme) and it show up correctly, but it doesn't at boot.
My laptop is a Dell XPS 13 (9360) with intel HD graphics 620 card and i7-7500U CPU
