Disconnected from wifi during installation (dual boot with Windows 10)

I was following the instructions in the manual setup from Wireless network configuration guide ( https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … figuration ) and managed to connect but after a few minutes I got disconnected with the following error - rtlwifi ap off try to reconnect now  AND then this spammed like 10 times a second - rt18821ae: Init MAC failed. Do you have any idea what causes this and how can I solve this?

Re: Disconnected from wifi during installation (dual boot with Windows 10)

Check in bios/uefi firmware and windows whether the card is allowed to be powered down (often done to lower power consumption, but can pose problems ).

Which kernel module is used by this card ?

post full dmesg / journalctl -b (i suggest using a pastebin client)

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

(A works at time B)  && (time C > time B ) ≠  (A works at time C)
