I have followed the instructions here. And dolphin emu still cant see my adapter.
I have also tried to use the this but it still doesnt work.

I can now see my 4 ports in dolphin emulator, I forgot to turn the switch at the back to pc
Still, my controller doesnt seem to be detected. I also dont see anything in dmesg when I unplug my controller from the adapter.

Both of the things you link to are for the official adapter. If you switched your own adapter to PC there's a good chance that the automatic detection doesn't work anyway, but you should be able to configure it manually as a normal controller, does that not work?

I am using the mayflash adapter, The problem is I cant see the controller come up in jstest-gtk at all so how can i configure it ?

It turns out it was a hardware problem, I changed controllers (same brand and everything) and it worked.
