AWUS051NH v2 not working with linux >= 4.12.3-1

Hi,

after upgrading

[2017-08-01 20:34] [ALPM] upgraded linux-firmware (20170422.ade8332-1 -> 20170622.7d2c913-1)
[2017-08-01 20:34] [ALPM] upgraded linux (4.11.9-1 -> 4.12.3-1)
[2017-08-01 20:34] [ALPM] upgraded linux-headers (4.11.9-1 -> 4.12.3-1)

I noticed that my AWUS051NH v2 isn't working anymore. LED is still blinking, but iwlist $INTERFACE scanning isn't showning any AP.

4.12.4-1 isn't working too.

It seems to be related to the kernel since only downgrading linux and linux-headers to 4.11.9-1 brings back functionality.
There is no difference in dmesg on pluging AWUS051NH in on all of this kernel-version.

AWUS051NH v2 appears to be a router.  Arch is installed on a client connecting to this router?
Please provide some details about the wireless interface of the client you connect to the router.

Could you explain what you mean by this please.

Edit:
Apologies so it is a usb wireless adapter.  Which driver are you using?
When you say there is no difference on connecting the device you mean you boot with it disconnected,  connecting the device and there is no additional dmesg output?
