PKGBUILD for jdk8u45

I would like to install jdk8u45, I need this specific version. I didnt found such package for arch anywhere, so I created such PKGBUILD https://pastebin.com/GM6vJpcR

During "makepkg PKGBUILD" I am getting:

==> ERROR: Could not solve all dependencies.

==> ERROR: An unknown error has occurred. Exiting...

Could you let me know what I am doing wrong?

Thank you!

In folder where I got this PKGBUILD I got also jdk-8u45-linux-x64.tar.gz.

Re: PKGBUILD for jdk8u45

The error is self-explanatory, you don't have the required dependencies installed.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Re: PKGBUILD for jdk8u45

You do realise you're trying to build an Oracle java version that is over 2 years old and misses tons of critical security fixes ?

As for the error : ls -l of the folder you're building in and full output of makepkg please .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
