Hi, I've been using Arch for two months so far, and actually like it more than my original macbook. I have a minor thing that I want to change, so for now when i right click any file, my default nautilus setting has "open with other application" where you have to click it to have a new window of applications. https://i.stack.imgur.com/Jph4X.png
But I want to change it to "open with" with arrow like this: https://i.stack.imgur.com/PLhpQ.png. I couldn't find a post related to this, maybe it is too minor of an issue. Any help about this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there and welcome to Arch. Haven't used Gnome in a few weeks so not sure if this is possible. What desktop environment is the second screenshot from? If I recall, Gnome allows you to set the default application to open a specific file type, but I don't think it gives you a list similar to your second screenshot. As a matter of note, your first screenshot shows the opening of a folder/directory and the second one shows the opening of a file. The context menu would probably look different in either case.

Hi, those screenshots are actually not what I use, I coouldn't take a screenshot of my laptop while right-clicked on a file. I use Cinnamon 3.4.4. While I have a function to set the default application, I wnat it with an arrow so I can switch between multiple applications faster.
