[SOLVED] Best way to upgrade two machines

I have a laptop and a desktop both running a similarly installed ArchLinux. What's the best way to upgrade both machines? The default configuration download the files twice, which of course is not optimal. I would not like to maintain a user repository because it seems overkill. Could the upgrade process be somehow automated using pacman cache from the other machine.

Seems that pacserve is just what I need. Thank you for posting the links!
