[SOLVED] Not Able to Correctly Rebind CapsLock to Esc in .Xmodmap

Hi guys,

I'm currently running an xinit + i3wm environment and have issues using fcitx with mozc, when I'm trying to rebind Caps to Escape:

According to the Archwiki Page one should be able to use .Xmodmap since version 4.2.7 (I'm running 4.2.9.1).
So I have an .Xmodmap like this:

keycode   66 = Escape NoSymbol Escape NoSymbol Escape

Although it now does indeed issue the Escape function when pressing Caps, it still toggles the Caps function (light turns on) and makes me write everthing in Uppercase.
Has anyone a clue why this could be?

EDIT:
Ok I am really new to Xmodmap so this was a really stupid question. The problem is that you have to clear the Caps function in .Xmodmap like this:

clear lock
keycode   66 = Escape NoSymbol Escape NoSymbol Escape
