Hi,
I switched from laptop-mode-tool to TLP yesterday, I did a systemd update and today when I booted my system I had errors on boot log.
First thing that surprised me is that I set the quiet parameter yet I had boot log.
I can't find the boot log, /var/log/boot.log contain an old log.
The error was:
Failed to start load kernel module
Plus, I had an error with rfkill (I'll write it down soon, I didn't had the time to see it)
The output of systemctl status systemd-modules-load.service is:
● systemd-modules-load.service - Load Kernel Modules

I've seen nothing unusual with dmesg.
Now compiz doesn't work anymore, and firefox nightly is buggy

You'll see boot messages even with 'quiet' boot flag in case there are errors.
-- Reboot -- Aug 18 11:55:31 reddot systemd-modules-load[159]: libkmod: kmod_config_parse: /etc/modprobe.d/audio_powersave.conf line 1: ignoring bad line starting with '
And there's your error. Fix your /etc/modprobe.d/audio_powersave.conf

I deleted the file (it contained only the path of the file itself) but it didn't work. Now the output of journalctl -u systemd-modules-load is:

What is the output of the following please
$ uname -a
$ pacman -Qs acpi_call
$ pacman -Qs tp_smapi
$ pacman -Qo /boot
Edit:
changed acpi to acpi_call and added tp_smapi

Ok I figured it out, tp_smapi was installed but not compatible with my Thinkpad t460. But I have still problems with compiz and something something rfkill

Read the TLP wiki page, it addresses the rfkill problem.
