Re: June 2006 screenshots

Time to show off my PekWM, just loving it roll  8)

Busy one

Uncluttered

What u think of it?

I think i have to improve the fontlooking, cause it looks a bit ugly in my eyes, but changes to .pekwm/themes/default/theme arent really recognized i suppose.
Maybe some of u who uses PekWM knows how to do that smile

Re: June 2006 screenshots

Those fonts look pretty good to me... But then I'm using a CRT (Trinitron), and a lot of people here seem to have LCDs.

I mean variance in the screenshots, not the shots from the same users.  And no, I'm using KDE now.

Re: June 2006 screenshots

Not on mine... Last I checked, PCM and CD were the only channels that seemed to be doing anything, and volume was very low (though audible), with the ac97_quirk stuff solving nothing. I suppose I'll try again...

Edit: Nope, the changes in 2.6.17 don't help. Still crazy-low volume, still nonworking channels, still garbage.

Re: June 2006 screenshots

That's pretty strange. I've used that card with a lot of different Linux-Distributions and it always worked out well. Perhaps it's a different revision or something like that.

00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 50)

That's my output of lspci. Perhaps that clarifies some things. If not we should most likely open another thread for that.

It used to work with mine, too. My current setup doesn't have a Via chipset but the previous one did and the VT8235 worked very well.

I started a thread on it a while ago, nothing came of it... I just have a crappy mobo I guess. Carry on...
