Hi everybody!
When updating my machine, I used to compile some packages myself. Since some time, the version of the package in the PKGBUILD is always behind that of the same pre-compiled package. As an example, for vim, as of now the compiled-package version is:
% yaourt -Si vim | grep Ver
Version : 8.0.0851-1
while the version in the PKGBUILD is:
% yaourt -Sb vim
...
pkgver=8.0.0586
_versiondir=80
pkgrel=2
...
Did anybody else experience this behavior? How may I fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Has yaourt been updated to reflect the fact that the rsync endpoint for official packages doesn't exist anymore?

You're right: there's an open issue on yaourt's repository about moving from abs to asp (https://github.com/archlinuxfr/yaourt/issues/327). I guess it's just a matter of time until yaourt's support for asp will be ready. Thanks a lot for the reply.
