Hi,
I have a bluetooth headset Sennheiser Momentum 2 and a bluetooth speaker Bose Mini II Soundlink.
I want to use both of them with the "a2dp" sink.
If the headset is connected to my BT adapter via a2dp, it is impossible to even connect the speaker: I get this error "bluetoothd[727]: Unable to select SEP".
If the speaker is connected though, the headset only connects via HSP/HFP, with horrible audio quality: this makes a $500 headset sound like a $5 one.
My question is:
What is the standard procedure to switch between BT output devices under KDE so that both of them can use high quality output?
Thanks

Do both of them individually support A2DP ? There's likely a hardware issue that your bluetooth adapter isn't strong enough to drive the A2DP protocol for two devices at the same time.

Yes indeed: both of them work individually via a2dp! But as soon as one is connected, its game over for the second:mutually exclusive.
The BT adapter is in my P50 thinkpad: how can I check its capabilities?
And what is the standard way to switch between BT outputs??
Only way working now: completely disconnecting one device, then pairing/connecting the other.
Thanks
