[SOLVED] Problems upgrading to ZFS 0.7.1

Hi, I'm having a problem running pacman -Syu on my system

The comments in AUR mention it should go smoothly.

Any suggestions ?

@dmp1ce Now that zfs 0.7 is out, there aren't any rc packages any more, but pacman assumes, that the rc version is higher than the current one. You will have to run
# pacman -Syuu

What's going on with the versioning? I am getting this warning:

$ pacaur -Syu
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
archzfs is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
warning: spl-linux-git: local (0.7.0_rc4_r5_g7a35f2b_4.11.9_1-1) is newer than archzfs (0.7.0_r1_geed143d_4.12.3_1-2)
warning: zfs-linux-git: local (0.7.0_rc4_r95_g94b25662c_4.11.9_1-1) is newer than archzfs (0.7.0_r6_g1e0565d10_4.12.3_1-2)

This solved my main issue.

I will try to switch to zfs-linux now (instead of zfs-linux-git).

Looks like a case for epoch=1 ... ask the maintainer to

man PKGBUILD

CPU-optimized Linux-ck packages @ Repo-ck  • AUR packagesZsh and other configs
