I have downloaded the latest version of snapd and it doesn't work. Whatever package I try to run it keeps saying that it cannot find the core package (see error below) , even though it is installed. I need to get this working because I need a piece of software and the developer only releases it as a snap package and has no plans to release it in any other form. The program I am trying to get running is Termius ssh client.
sudo snap refresh core error: cannot refresh "core": cannot find snap "core"
I installed snapd from the official repositories and it doesn't work. I have also tried the hello-world snap package and that doesn't work either.

Not sure this would make you any happier but even installed hrough snap it is unworkable. Out of the box it displays a dark terminal-like window and does nothing more. No menus, no buttons no shortcuts Ino any other ways 've succeeded to make it do anything.

Try termius as chrome app, it works well)

Just for the record: Snapd also stopped working for me at some point during the last weeks with the same issue. Cannot exactly see when it was working the last time, as I wasn't using it regularly.
