Custom resolution mode on Gnome/Wayland

Hello,
I am trying to add custom resolution mode on Gnome Display app. Reason for this is my broken monitor, it is sending back wrong informations. Monitor is listed as  "Unknown Monitor" with 2 smaller resolution modes.

On previous Linux installation I could force resolution using xrandr and xorg.conf, but now I'm using Wayland and these commands/files don't exist.

Is there an alternative way to do this?

Re: Custom resolution mode on Gnome/Wayland

Have you found a solution to this? I can't find any solution except switching back to xorg but I would rather use wayland since it is so much faster on my virtual machine.
