Hi,
Evolution mail often freezes at "Saving user interface state..." at startup, and new email messages do not appear until 'saving user....' message has been taken care of either by 1) cancelling it from the bottom status which takes, anything between 1 minute to 5, minutes or 2) killing the application [when I am not in a mood to wait] and restarting with hope it does not appear again.

Is anyone else facing the problem? And possibilities to find solution??
Thank you.

KDE is all good bloated, try to trim away from K*.apps... whatever it leaves behind equals "Kuck yourself!"
nVidia.... fsck sdy0

I just experienced this yesterday, hadn't noticed it before (which does not mean it didn't happen, Evolution runs in the background all the time, who knows what it is doing when I don't look). Interestingly around the same time I had a dconf process with high CPU usage, might be related.

@phw: Thanks
Anyone with fix/suggestions?

Seems it is a known issue since 2013 but unresolved. Filed bug upstream at: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=787438.
Marking this thread solved.
