[solved] skypeforlinux (uninstall)

Hi community,

some time ago I installed (probably from aur with yaourt) skypeforlinux. Today I tried to start it (normally I use rambox) and it told me that the version is unsupported.
So I thought hey, okay, lets remove it.
Problem is "yaourt -R skypeforlinux" can't find it and with "yaourt skype" and "yaourt skypeforlinux" it can't be found (normally you find the package then with an 'installed' tag)
So I have no idea how to solve this manually and to find every entry.

Could you help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Please post your /var/log/pacman.log

Mod note: not an installation issue, moving to NC.

Probably?  The symptoms would suggest otherwise, and as you are not sure, the most parsimonious explanation is that is was not installed from the AUR.  However your pacman.log would help answer this conclusively.  You could also check `pacman -Qm` output.

Re: [solved] skypeforlinux (uninstall)

The probably is about aur, could also be community or extra

The information with pacman.log solved it:
skype-for-linux normally when a name can't be found I just search for the package again but the package does not seem to exist anymore but with the name from the log I was able to delete it.

SOLVED big_smile

pacman -Qm or pacman -Qo <filename> would have given you the package name even easier.
