Failed to start LVM2 PV and Login Service

Hi,

Not sure if something went wrong with an update, but one of my machines doesn't boot any longer and I'm no longer able to log in.

I have little understanding of LVM and wonder if it's possible to fix it from a live cd or do I need to re-install the whole machine?

Thank you for any advice and assistance! Pretty stuck here sad

The error I get looks like this

How is your lvm configured? Post the output of the recommended commands, as well as the output of 'uname -a' and 'pacman -Q linux' from the running system.

Re: Failed to start LVM2 PV and Login Service

I booted from a livecd and it seems issue is that pvck can't run.

The error I got, when I ran pvck was: Could not find LVM label on /dev/VolGroup00/root

I tried to mount the partition and that worked fine.
