[REQUEST] Tusk - Unofficial, open source Evernote app

This is not a help request, I only want to point this application in case someone could be interested in packaging it.

Tusk is an unofficial, open source, third-party, community driven, free Evernote app with a handful of useful features.

Re: [REQUEST] Tusk - Unofficial, open source Evernote app

lol. you best hope someone decides to do it but you should definitely give a try if you highly value the software. PKGBUILD and all it implies is superficially daunting but once you give it a few tries you should be reaching somewhere. In the end you will know if you enjoy building packages or not. I had to for a printer and as much frustration it caused me initially, three days later i had a working POS system on linux. And that was just a printer package. Would i do it again. perhaps no, not unless i had to.

i remember back in the day when there was no google drive, keep, docs or sheets i would send to myself files i created and like that i knew they would always be online, i remeber using HTC's scribble app and since i have a note5 i use Snote but even im not the kind of person that uses windows 7 and sync my snotes, i use arch right. but what i do use is google keep because it is on the cloud, you can share it, and you can even use note5 digitizer pen to take notes.

so you have here a choice that most people evenutally findthemselves in, stick to something like evernote or the app  you suggest, or google keep.
but eventually one will prevail, the most likely winner. google keep

Liberodark, i have some minor issues with that PKGBUILD.

It installs binaries and should be called tusk-bin .
The PKGBUILD would look much cleaner if the sha512sums were moved above the package() function.

Everything using MIT license requires it's unique license  to be installed in /usr/share/licenses/$pkgname ,
see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PKGBUILD#license .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

(A works at time B)  && (time C > time B ) ≠  (A works at time C)
