Hello,
I am trying to print documents, but always print in landscape, and I select portrait mode. The desktop environment is GNOME.
The documents are PDF.
Where is the particular cups configuration?. Can I modify any config file in /etc/cups?.
I have tried different printers.
How can I solve this?.
Best regards.

That's typically not a "cups configuration" (except for defaults, http://localhost:631), but a client provided switch - iow: print from what application?
Also: is the document landscape'd?

I have printed the PDF from evince and libreoffice with original document. The result is equal. Print in landscape.
The documents aren't landscaped.

Does it default to portrait?
Did you try printing with lp/lpr?
Either the printer/driver "misinterprets" the orientation flag or the gtk printing GUI is broken (eg. might falsely assume a portrait default and not issue any option for the case)

Hi,
the default is portrait. I have tried with lp/lpr and the result is the same, prints in landscape.

Likely a printer/ppd/filter problem then, so details on the actual setup (printer model and used ppd) would be required for further investigation.
