Re: GDM with wayland show black flicker while logging in

I'm guessing this is our only option:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 5#p1700245
Bisect the kernel.
Fortunately we know is started with linux 4.12.1, so bisecting from 4.11.x might not require that many commits. I'd still wager it will be a whole morning to detect.
Any takers?

Re: GDM with wayland show black flicker while logging in

This seems to have solved itself with linux-4.14.X.
Anyone else confirms?

Solved for me, confirming (or so I imagine) that the brief 'flashing on and off' of the gdm login screen was related to the screen-rotating function of iio-sensor-proxy (from AUR). It still blanks the screen a few times on rotating, but not, as  before, at the first login after booting.

Enough is more.
