Hello,
I have a pretty weird problem.
I have a year old, seldom used lenovo thinkpad 11e (3rd gen).
The keyboard keeps spamming 7, as if the key was stuck (it's not, I even removed the cap to see if anything was wrong underneath).
This behavior happens regardless of the OS (It happens in BIOS, grub, arch and a live mint).
If I plug in a usb keyboard, and disable atkbd, the laptop keyboard isn't responsive, and although the spamming is vastly reduced, it still spams some random characters once in a while.
I've been trying to reinstall my bios, but it has proven to be fairly difficult without windows.
Any idea?

Hardware issue.

+1, replace the keyboard.
If it's not a "I totally did not spill coke over it" issue, there's probably some corrosion or even just static build-up (my MS CC2000 needs a slap every other month ;-) in the circuit board.
But I doubt it's reasonably possible to disassemble a notbook keyboard :-(
