Stuck on boot up

My ThinkPad T450s will no longer boot into the display manager... it get stuck at the screen below. I can't switch to a terminal and there is not response to Ctrl+Alt+Del so I can only force power off the machine. I have booted the Arch USB and chrooted to update the system, which work OK, but didn't solve the problem. I am not sure how to proceed to debugging the problem...

Re: Stuck on boot up

hi. It seems you used SDDM as display manager. Look at log files then checks for "error, failed ... etc". Then figure out your own or  post here.

Alternativelly disable SDDM and never use any display manager(like me), login via console  or try other display managers.
