I had installed Linux Mint, then wanted to try Arch, installed it, fell in love with it and stopped using Mint
Now I would like to remove Mint and its partition, but the problem is that Mint is the distro that "controls" GRUB. How can I install it so that I can control it from Arch? Would it be enough to just install the package
grub
? Do I have to create new partitions? Do I have to use a live media, mount, chroot and install the grub? I guess that if I wipe the partition with Mint, I won't be able to boot anymore...
Thanks for all the suggestions!

Mod note: not an installation issue, moving to NC.

Ok, I think I solved the issue. Should anyone be interested, it was as easy as starting Arch, installing the packages grub and os-probers and then giving grub-install as written in the wiki page.
