stupid question, I've to add font awesome on my config file of i3? For example do I set font awesome instead font pango:DejaVu Sans Mono, Icons 9?

Only for i3bar:
bar {
output LVDS1
output HDMI1
status_command i3blocks -c ~/.config/i3/i3blocks.conf
#status_command $HOME/.scripts/conky-i3bar
position top
workspace_buttons yes
#separator_symbol ""
tray_output LVDS1
tray_padding 2
height 18
font pango: FontAwesome 9
}
UNIX is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who is friends are.

Hi Minbari, can you post your conky configuration please? It's very pretty

@freestyler7 Would you mind reuploading your i3 config somewhere? I would greatly appreciate it. You have a sweet setup!

Slightly OT, but can't we use image hosting services that doesn't require JavaScripts?

Hii Minbari... I know it's been a time but, would you still have such config files ? both: conkyrc and conky bar??

That bar it's i3blocks. I don't have that conky I lost when "mighty" systemd f**ked my system, but you can modify conky lua rings to fit your needs as I did. Anyway I've move from Arch Linux to a more stable unil-like system: FreeBSD.

Hello Mazhar
Glad to meet You here.
It was my old setup, my current i3 setup looks like this. Decide to use vanilla i3, i3bar, and i3status

I'm not lazy! I'm on powersaving mode.

Clean
@AddyElric: thanks, I found your configuration easy-to-start, and modify.
As a start I've reached this, but I'm willing to change since there are a lot of things I've to learn (conky, mpd, ncmpcpp, vim...).
Using the tabbed mode (e.g.) for qutebrowser, irssi, and cmus, it's super fine, due the track being played is also displayed on it.
I don't post the config for the moment, since I'm pretty sure there are thoughts not really correct, or that need some changings.
The fading option also is awesome .
Note: yes, I'll replace the wallpaper, too .

I am new to i3 and Arch I got used to it very quickly and I like it. I use mostly CLI programs.
