KVM Arch Linux Xorg does not want to start. No xorg.conf

Hallo,

I am new at Arch Linux and wanted to test Arch Linux on KVM first.

I have installed xorg-server and xf86-video-qxl

When I type Xorg -configure the log is saying:

Welcome to the forums SepArch smile

Why are you running Xorg -configure? It almost always breaks things.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

because It worked on FreeBSD. It created the xorg.conf.new and I could change drivers and started Xorg successfully on FreeBSD.

How shall I do it on Arch? Write the whole conf file by myself?

No. You shouldn't need an xorg.conf at all.

Post a new Xorg.log as well as the contents of your ~/.xinitrc.

Please use [⁣code] [⁣/code] tags when posting command outputs and file contents.
