Hi,
I want to build my custom kernel 2.6.17 with beyond patch but it looks like there is no possible to download this patch. It's strange becouse kernel-2.6.17-beyond1 is in extra repo! I looked on CVS:
source=(ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-$basekernel.tar.bz2
#http://iphitus.loudas.com/beyond/${basekernel}/patch-${basekernel}-${basebeyond}.bz2
patch-${basekernel}-${basebeyond}
iphitus:
what's going on?
Cheers

Had been having some problems with my regular host for beyond stuff so I just put the patch into CVS. It'll be 'fixed' for the next beyond.

Is that the reason why the patch on your ftp is newer than the one in cvs (while both have the same name)? The one in cvs only has suspend 2.2.5.2, while the one from your ftp has 2.2.6. There are other differences, too.

yep. the other difference is that the one on my server has 2.6.17.1 integrated, whereas the PKGBUILD has it seperate.
There should be another release in the next few days, there's a few bugs which I may have fixes for, and I have to put the updated suspend2 in.
