I've just installed Arch on a new to me laptop I picked up on eBay,
Lenovo Thinkpad W541 i7 4810MQ Quad 2.8GHz
Anyone care to comment about the Kernel Modules or other packages which will,
- get the F1 key light off
- make the F-keys usable
- enable trackpad/touchpoint functions
- Wireless: Operation not possible due to RF-kill
or whatever you've done to get this particular model to work well with the Arch platform.

My go to for ThinkPads has been Linux guides to Thinkpads: Thinkwiki.org Strangely, the site doesn't show the W541. There are some disturbing problems with BIOS 2.09. The W541 model's factory installed BIOS is dated 2015 (UEFI BIOS (GNET76WW) v2.24). I'm optimistic.
