[Solved] Keyboard issues

Hello,

I have a laptop running Arch Linux and have a really strange issue with my keyboard, and i cannot find anywhere how to fix it.

First i noticed that the backspace does not autorepeat, like when you hold and start deleting, i have to press one time for every character. But i realised that every key is doing the same, when i hold any key it does not autorepeat. Im using KDE and the autorepeat funcion is enabled. Also, this happens on SDDM before login.

Then i realise that i cannot select anything on terminal (konsole and rxvt-unicode), when i hold and drag it just stop selecting and i go to the end of the terminal.

Okay, but the strangest thing is that if i switch to a tty i got a "^@" being show (like if i would be typing it) at the screen every half a second, so i cant even login into a tty.

I dont even know how to search for this. And i really need some help. This problem started a few weeks ago but i cant remember the first time i saw it. I have a Windows 10 dual boot and Windows doesnt have this problem, so i think that is a software issue, not hardware.

Hardware Information:
Avell G1555. Clevo based.
Intel Core i7 7700HQ, 16GB DDR4 Crucial
Nvidia GeForce GTX1060 6GB
SSD Crucial 1TB SATA M2
(This is not a Optimus laptop, the GeForce is wired to the screen)

Software Information:
Arch Linux Latest Updates, Not Testing.
Running KDE and SDDM.
Nvidia Proprietary Drivers from Repo.

Thanks @berbae. This topic help me alot. As it was commented, search engines doesnt understood "^@" wich made hard to find relevant stuff.

It was

input_polldev

module as commented in the thread, i rmmod-it and the problem was solved. Actually, another solution is to run LTS kernel, something between Kernel 4.9 and kernel 4.13 is doing some weird interaction with keyboard input.

Thanks alot for your help wink
