[Broadcom BCM4352] A fix for empty bluetooth scan/visibility

Hi everyone,

I was looking since several hours on the forum and on the internet how to make this crazy bluetooth discovery work for Broadcom BCM4352.

After a (really) long journey across stackexchange, google and arch, one post finally helped me to fix this.

So, here you go :

cd /lib/firmware/brcm
sudo wget https://github.com/winterheart/broadcom-bt-firmware/raw/master/brcm/BCM20702A1-13d3-3404.hcd

And then, just reboot. You will be able to finally find your bluetooth devices.

To be as precise as possible, my current broadcom-wl (not b43 !) is linux49-broadcom-wl-6.30.223.271-32
My computer is an ASUS ROG G750JS.

Dude. Dude. Dude. Thank you so goddam much. Bluetooth has been an absolute PITA since I started using linux and this just cured all my woes. I'm not even using Arch, and I made this account just to thank you. So yeah, thank you so much dude. Much appreciated.

The files from that github site don't always work, you can create your own firmware following instructions from https://askubuntu.com/questions/632336/ … nt-working.  Check dmesg errors to see what filename the kernel wants for the firmware as that can change
