fonts in Openbox

I'd like to be able to use the Terminus font in Openbox themes but I can't seem to be able to do this. With Conky I was able to get the fonts to appear as I like with a setting that disables XFT. Is there something similar for Openbox that I can't find?

This is probably part of a much larger font issue. Maybe its an Xorg or GTK setting I need to change? I have no idea =

Re: fonts in Openbox

You need to enable bitmap fonts :

$ sudo ln -sf /etc/fonts/conf.d/yes-bitmaps.conf /etc/fonts/conf.d/10-bitmaps.conf
