Bumblebeed service prevents display manager to load

I have installed bumblebee following the official guide.
My laptop (dell xps 9560)  has a gtx 1050 so I installed the nvidia graphics driver and the intel graphics driver and added my normal user account to the bumblebee group.

Running

systemctl start bumblebeed

is working and

optirun glxgears -info

shows spinning tooth wheels.
But enabling the service and restarting the device prevents my display manager sddm to load and it is only displaying a blackscreen.

Goal: I want only use my processor graphic card and in the rarest cases I need my NVIDIA GPU.

How can this be fixed? What can cause this issues?

Search the forums? There are many threads about sddm at the moment. Just disable it and boot to CLI. Then you can start X.

CLI Paste | How To Ask Questions
