Keyboard issue: repeat key stops infrequently

Hey folks,

I have a weird keyboard issue. Repeat keys is enabled and basically works, but it stops infrequently. I think it has something to do with another issue. When I scroll up in the terminal, the cursor jumps back to the bottom with the same frequency. It is as if some button is hit in the background. I tested it with screenkey, but it doesn't show any button being pressed, so I guess the keyboard is okay.

Does someone have an idea what this could be?

Cheers
