Firefox displays nearly everything in monospace font.
It was installed using `pacman` in Arch running KDE plasma 5.11 (in Virtualbox).
I've searched all over the place to find a suitable solution,. Most of which lead to KDE in Ubuntu instructing to delete the `fonts.conf` file but couldn't find any that would relate to Arch.
Could anyone please show how to fix this?

You can define the font to be used from within firefox... Settings --> Language & Appearance --> Fonts

Thank you for the reply.
I set the font to serif just like it is on my Ubuntu desktop, but the problem still persists. What should I do?

You can set a global GTK font in the system settings dialog, you could set a GTK font manually, you can set the general font substitutions to be used in KDE's system settings, you can manually define XMLs etcetc. Do you have a proper font installed?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KDE#Fonts
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fonts#Font_alias -- to find out what is currently defined for Serif
How did you install Arch?
Mod note: Moving to NC

Thank you ever so much. Installing those font packages (ttf-dejavu and ttf-liberation) using `pacman -S` solved the problem.
May I know how to mark this solved? (It's my first time here :-))

You can edit your first post and add [solved] to your title.
