hi,
zsnes crashes when i change video resolution (it works only with 512x448).
i think is an opengl problem.

ZSNES hasn't seen an update in 10 years and never had all that good of an emulation and is mostly written in assembler and hard to update. It's not too surprising that it might run into issues on modern systems. Do you have a particular reason for wanting to use ZSNES? Snes9x doesn't have much higher system requirements and just 2 or 3 days ago had a new release.
Edit: Details on that coredump might be interesting. check
man coredumpctl
for information on how to investigate a coredump, but still, don't hold your breath that that is going to be reasonably fixable. Also giving the output of
glxinfo | grep OpenGL
will likely be more interesting than most of these other outputs.

i have used zsnes some months ago and it worked perfeclty with all video resolution.
Does it work in a new profile? That sometimes happens to me, it stores some strange setting in its config, and that makes it crash repeatedly.

sabés que a mi me funciona perfectamente zsnes cuando selecciono el 640x480 pero fullscreen, si lo quiero ver en una ventana se queda tildado. Probé eliminando el directorio .zsnes, pero lo mismo. Me sucede en i3wm, en los DE que usé hace años tipo Gnome Shell o Cinnamon no tenía ése problema. Terminé usando snes9x-gtk, me funcionó perfecto. :-)
