Looks nice. Ext3 is still my FS of choice, although ZFS interests me... I think Ext4 will be available on linux before ZFS.

Actually, many people wanted all those features as part of ext3 extensions. For reasons of stability, it was decided to keep ext3 stable and create a ext4 branch.

looks pretty cool, but I still couldn't figure out how wil it work, I mean how will it rplace the I-NODE and all the indirect that we have today to a better one?

i tried resierfs, was faster but the wasnt good enough, reiser4 is said to be good wioth fsck but again i dont wanna format and reinstall my os for a fs that doesnt allow u to update without reformatting!

kidding me right? even the slightest fault on a reiser4 partition results in a boot to a liveCD to do multiple long fsck checks.

I'd wait until the dust settles on 'ext4'. So far it just looks like a fork with larger file/size support which doesnt offer the average user much reason to upgrade yet. And it hasnt even been forked yet.

ext4 will be just experimental branch (ext3dev option marked "EXPERIMENTAL" in kernel config) where developers will be working on all future improvements.
Currently there are plans for 48-bit (or maybe even 64-bit) support, large files and extents. I'm sure there will be a bunch of other nice additions too.
When all new features from ToDo list will be implemented ext3dev will be renamed to ext4 and after additional testing it will be marked stable.
Note that ext4 will be partially incompatible with ext3, especially when user enables extents and maybe some other future features. If user does not enable extended features then ext4 may be even completely like ext3 (this is the same like ext3 is just ext2+journal). But there will be easy conversion process just like with ext2/ext3, and all core functionality will be ext2/3/4 compatible.
Note also that all stability fixes will be backported to ext2/ext3.

Yeah, pacman started to run much faster...but the dbase is so fragged now that it's crap again and the optmize script thing doesn't work with reiser4

Does it report a MD5SUM mismatch? I had this issue when using reiser4 for my /var partition. Only option was to optimize by hand.
