Hello,
Recently I am updating os. While updating latest kernel I accedently terminated the update process by pressing Ctrl+C. After that I again updated my system. It shows no errors. When rebooted It is show following error code.
::running early hook [udev]

You are now being dropped into an emergency shell.
sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
[rootfs ]#
Shell isn't working to do anything..
Is there anything I can do restore my system. Or should I reinstall Arch??

Read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … an_upgrade
You want to figure which package/s is/are broken: "pacman --root=/mnt -Qkk" and then re-install them. Looks like the initramfs and maybe the kernel are also affected, so you'll have to mkinitcpio. Ensure to not mess up with the /boot partition mount (forgot to mount, using the wrong mountpoint)

I am using Ubuntu 16.04 live to enter into my systems files.
I am using chroot to change from ubuntu to Arch.
When I trying to use mkinitcpio (mkinitcpio -p linux) It is showing the following error.
==> ERROR: /proc must be mounted!
I have no knowledge about what is /proc. What should I do now??
