Any alternatives for Conky for Wayland?

I was so excited to test Conky on my KDE dekstop only to realize that it only runs on X Server but I'm using Wayland. Is there any alternative software for Wayland compositor that would do the same thing Conky does or am I forced to use X Server? If there isn't, is there any estimate, how long it will take for Conky to support Wayland?

It should run via XWayland.
At least it seems to work with gnome under wayland.

AFAIK conky relies mostly on X11 libraries, so wayland support would most likely require a major rewrite.
