Hello,
The audio jack, after the installation of Arch or other distros, gives a hissing sound to the headphones. To fix it, I use the following configuration for alsa and did a jack retask. The audio jack, then, normally works just fine and the sound is OK.
After the fix, the problem is when I suspend and wake up, the same noise starts to appear. I think the configuration applied during the boot becomes ineffective after suspend&wake-up.
Asus N551VW uses a combo jack with dark-gray color.
I use the configuration in alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=dell-headset-multi
and also did a jack retask:
# This file was added by the program 'hda-jack-retask'.
# If you want to revert the changes made by this program, you can simply erase this file and reboot your computer.
options snd-hda-intel patch=hda-jack-retask.fw,hda-jack-retask.fw,hda-jack-retask.fw,hda-jack-retask.fw
Output of aplay -l:

I would like to solve this issue, as I frequently suspend my computer.
For your information, the hissing sound is always there after the wake-up even if I muted the device or select the speakers for output.
Thanks in advance.
