Should linux-zen config enable MuQSS flag?

While doing some looking into the linux-zen kernel featureset i noticed that the upstream repo includes the MuQSS CPU scheduler as does its parent the liquorix kernel. However, I also noticed that it is not enabled in the deployed package. Is there a reason for why it is not included in the build or is it just an oversight?

Re: Should linux-zen config enable MuQSS flag?

Additional comments about closing:  I'm severely prejudiced against MuQSS, so it will continue "giving a null".

May we know some more details about that prejudice ? Searching around I saw that it lacks some features (arch wiki says cpu limiting won't work).
That's a quote from the announce of the first stable release:

It is meant as a replacement for BFS primarily, and NOT a comprehensive
replacement for the mainline scheduler since it lacks some of the features of
mainline still (specifically cgroups and sched deadline support.)

Thanks in advance smile

Re: Should linux-zen config enable MuQSS flag?

I can understand earlier BFS complaints about applications that use cgroups in certain ways, but MuQSS is suposed to have stubbed support for cgroups (to eliminate those errors), but as the aurthor himself states, does the scheduler really need to know cgroups to properly schedule tasks on a primarily desktop usage environment? The deadline issue is also confusing as 1) MuQSS uses a virtual deadline and 2) that deadline is tunable at runtime via several commands, which if i understand correctly will give non-virtual deadline behavior.
