Is there a way to make Xorg aware of /dev/jsX or /dev/eventX so that it wont turn off the screen while i'm playing games?
Joypad is connected, but not listed under xinput; also, i prevented the joypad from controlling the pointer.
koko@slimer# xinput list
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse id=8 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ USB Keyboard id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ MKEYBOARD id=12 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ SIGMACHIP Usb Mouse id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ USB Keyboard id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Eee PC WMI hotkeys id=13 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Plantronics Plantronics C320-M id=14 [slave keyboard (3)]
I know i can use a wrapper script, but make it transparent would be better!
Thanks.
