LXDE Sound Muted every reboot

Hello all,

As mentioned in another topic, I am setting up my father old computer on Arch with LXDE (Gnome being too resource demanding)

After searching for a solution (google & wiki) I cannot find how to save the mixer setting - main channel always at the lowest point and muted. I installed the Asla mixer and cannot use alsactl store.

Looking for your reply.

Thanks,

Re: LXDE Sound Muted every reboot

I had the same issue (muted after reboot).  It started after installing PulseAudio, because PA became a Firefox requirement for sound.  The solution mentioned in these 2 threads worked for me.
