[SOLVED] Changed monitor, Redshift no longer works.

Fixed by adding:

    Option "AllowIndirectGLXProtocol" "off"
    Option "TripleBuffer" "on"

to screen section on xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf.

It seems like this is only necessary when using ForceFullCompositionPipeline.

I've recently added a 3440x1440 monitor to pair with a 2560x1440 monitor. Previously it was the 2560 with a 1080 monitor.

The main monitor uses DP and secondary DVI.

Since I've added the new monitor, redshift does not work anymore.  I can see that it is changing the colour correction settings in nvidia-settings, but the screens stay the same.

If I try to adjust brightness/colour/contrast, etc. in nvidia-settings it also does nothing.

This was working fine before I added the new monitor. I'm using Gnome 3.24.2. Nightlight also does not work.

The graphics card is a GTX970 and the version of Nvidia proprietary is 384.69. There are no error messages if I run nvidia-settings or redshift in a terminal (or really any messages at all).

Any ideas?

Thanks.

The same is with me, the same graphics card + fix nvidia tearing in xorg.conf

If solved, you can ask for a walkthrough?
