missing "Run application" in gnome menu

That's the menu i'm sure is missing, maybe others too. Any ideas how to bring it back (and maybe others)

That entry has been removed in 2.12. The only way to get it back is by pressing ALT+F2. There's no code that adds this menu entry to the panel anymore, so there's no way to get it back, apart from a program that shows a dialog that looks the same.

right click panel / add to the panel / run application. You get the Item to the panel.
