Laptop left speaker is broken. How to disable it permanently?

I have an old T410 with broken left speaker. The membrane was torn and it produce a really bad distorted sound. For now I set it to 0 through alsamixer. I don't use any gui mixer.
So I wonder if there is a script or a config that can disable it permanently. I searched around but didn't find any solution.
