My wired connection keeps dropping out every 4 minutes or so for 30~60 seconds each time. It's an old problem and happened through computers, my laptop (on wired) and desktop both have this problem. At first I thought about my router, but I booted Windows and it didn't happen there. Another thing to note is that both devices have Realtek controllers.
I'd like to get rid of this problem because it's kinda annoying. I've been observing how the applications behave when those drop outs happen and I did notice that, for example, while on Twitch, the stream playback stops, but chat receives and send messages just fine, another thing, a download on Steam also stills fine, but if I try to open a webpage, it simply doesn't until the connection "gets back up".

What card? What driver? How do you manage your network? What is in the journal?

I had an usb wifi dongle connected that were messing the connection. After I got rid of it, the symptoms changed, now no packages get through and it seems that the drops are more random.
I have a Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411, driver r8169, I'm using NetworkManager. What should I look for in the journal?

I watch Twitch a lot and when I play some online game at the same time, it almost feels that the connection drops only because it's using "too much internet".

I believe it worked.

Nope, it's back, even with the r8168 driver. It's more stable, but stills.

Any tips? It's getting worse everytime.

I took a look at the journalctl with
# journalctl -u NetworkManager.service
and got just a bunch of
