[SOLVED] Pulseaudio device recognized and metered output but no sound

Hey community,

I have a problem with pulseaudio. Pulesaudio is detecting my soundcard and showing me, that the output is running, but I cannot hear any sound. I also checked that everything is unmuted, but there is no sound at all. On other systems, the soundcard is working fine, so I don't concider it to be damaged.

Launch pavucontrol and check that you've selected the correct output in the configuration tab.

Means, signal reaches output and the meter shows that sound is given to the soundcard. That's why I wonder that I don't get any audio at all.

Fixed the problem myself. Some channels of my soundcard were muted, which (unforunately) my pavucontrol didn't show. So I went into alsamixer and unmuted all channels and voila, problem solved. Thanks for giving me advice
