Weee... Printer troubles.

So, I'm trying to get my Dell 720 (aka lexmark whatever) printer working. I've gotten it working before, and since I kinda sorta had an idea of what to do, I searched the forums and found this post. Per the instructions I dl'd the z600 driver from lexmark and extracted the directory structure, then I copied over all the extracted items/directories. I modified the printer in cups to use the z600 ppd thingy, and things seemed to go well until I tried printing. Every job ends up stopped.
dmesg

drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 2 if 0 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x413C pid 0x5008

which is what /var/log/everything.log gives...
Here's part of /var/log/cups/error_log with the loglevel set to debug2 in the conf file.

There's plenty more, but it seems more or less similar, nothing that blatantly screams error. Here's some hopefully useful info from lsmod.

ehci_hcd 29576 0
ohci_hcd 18692 0
usblp 12160 0
usbcore 113536 4 ehci_hcd,ohci_hcd,usblp

Edit- NVM, works fine now, I guess I can't copy all the z600 stuff over piecemeal, must've lost some symlinks.
