Hi!
I have KDE and scrensaver supposed to startup after 15 minutes but it never started.
In the kdesktoprc I have:
ScreenSaver]
DPMS-dependent=false
Enabled=true
Lock=false
LockGrace=60000
Saver=starwars.desktop
Timeout=900
Power management works.
Thanks...

Same thing has been happening here, but I gave up on it and just started using xscreensaver-demo.

Looks like that is a bug.
I found but I didn't try yet:

You can add any relevant info to the Arch Bug Report.
I think that is KDE bug. But I have one problem more. I wrote that power management works. No more. After last kernel update (or something other) works but after one hour when monitor is "power off" it couldn't come back. I need to reset computer. Also keyboard doesn't works.

I just tried out the replacement file at megaflexdestiny.net. It breaks Arch's KDE desktop.
I'm going to wait for the next build of kdebase to hit the Arch repositories.

I have just upgraded to kdebase 3.5.3-4. My screensaver is working again!
Kudos to tpowa for the fix!

Doesn't quite work here, I get a blank screen, but no decoration, just an empty screensaver.
edit: the fix posted here works.

It works for me and I have DPMS-dependent=false in the kdestoprc which I didn't have before. I didn't try if works without.

Just an FYI.
I have DPMS-dependent=false as well. That and kdebase 3.5.3-4 is the combination that got the screensaver working for me.
The DPMS setting is common across distros. It isn't an Arch Linux specific issue.
