Reduced resolution 1024x 768

Good morning to you all,

since today morning i have a little problem.
I have a Radeon 6950 , which is connected via Displayport with a 27" monitor and a normal resolution of 2560*1440.
Yesterday evening everything works fine, pacman had nothing to do, and everything was ok.
But today in the morning i can only establish a resolution of 1024*768. I re-installed the (open-source) driver and i tried to find an error in the /var/log/Xorg.0.log. But i did not find anything, anybody an idea what went wrong ??

xrandr -q     will give you an idea what resolutions X thinks your monitor has.

Does the monitor work normal on another system ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
